Interior is getting more and more important, how a house is decorated shows the character and taste of the resident(s). More and more foliage and flowers are playing a very important role, and are really seen as an extension of the interior. Knowing what the costumer is looking for can be very useful for your business. For example, play with colours and textures when buying or arranging flowers and foliage and make exactly what your customer wants. We made a compilation with the most important trends for this autumn.
TREND - INDUSTRIAL GREEN
We are not getting rid of the industrial trend in the living room just yet, but this sturdy industrial style gets a natural and green update! Metals are combined with plants and wood, creating a homely and warm look & feel. The used colours in this trend are within the same colour range, such as orange combined with yellow or red combined with pink. Because the colours are quite uniform, this is a calm style. But don’t be mistaken: the interesting mix of natural elements and metals makes this to a style that everybody can easily add in and around their home.
TREND - BRIGHT HUES
Here at the start of the early autumn days we are holding on to the happy summer mood for a little while longer. The trend ‘bright hues’ focuses on cheerful and bright colours, the more the better! Even slightly unusual combinations are allowed, think pink combined with orange, or green with a light blue hue. By using different bright colours and textures a playful and laid-back style comes to life, like everything just ‘happend’ to come together.
DEEP JUNGLE
From the interior trend ‘bright hues’ with its clear colours, we are moving on to its darker counterpart. The trend ‘deep jungle’ evolves around the usage of deep, rich colours against a dark background. The usage of green (in all its hues) and other natural elements is a must in this trend and every now and then a splash of colour is added. In contrast to the trend ‘bright hues’ the composition is thought out very well, this creates a chic and dramatic look & feel. Combinations like dark green with ochre are a great match, but also dark green with a (light) pink are sure to create an impact!
