It's an odd time we're living in. It almost looks like we are all in a movie, but this is reality. In the Netherlands, the necessary measures regarding the Corona virus (COVID 19) are being taken. For example, most people work from home, students no longer go to school and restaurants and cinemas are closed. This happens not only in the Netherlands, but also in the rest of the world. Some countries, such as Italy, are in complete 'lock-down'.

Due to all the necessary measures taken by governments worldwide, the floriculture is really struggling at the moment. Flowers are still coming in, but are hardly sold. This is because borders are closed, people are no longer allowed to leave the house and flowers are not a primary necessity of life.

What does this mean for us as Coloríginz ?! We try to serve you as much as possible. We will be there for you as long as we are able to. At this time, we must also take a step back. For example, we have to accept low volumes from growers and we can only receive varieties that have already been ordered. Without a price guarantee, because we have no influence on the market.

You will not receive a regular newsletter from us this Thursday. We do not consider it to be appropriate given the current situation. We hope to be able to send this to you next Thursday.

For now, our thoughts go out to the victims of the Corona virus and to the many other sectors that have been / are being affected. We will keep you informed about any products, stocks and news regarding the Corona virus in our industry.
