Our pistacia suppliers are currently transitioning between the harvest of the older pistacia crop and newly grown crop. The new foliage has a beautiful shape and a fresh light colour, although the softer leaves are more vulnerable and have a slightly shorter shelf-life in comparison to the older crop.

Together with our suppliers we do all that is possible to deliver a quality product and we take special measures to protect the harvested pistacia from dehydration and damages; During the summer our suppliers harvest pistacia in the morning, while it is still cool. When harvested, Pistacia is cooled and transported as quickly as possible. In order to prevent dehydration, we prefer to offer Pistacia in water during the summer period. We also deliver less buckets per cart to further prevent damage to the young Pistacia leaves.
