Our colleague Frank van der Stroom recently visited our suppliers Frutercoop Acores Terceira, Agricola da Ilha do Faial and Coop on the Azores.

Hurricane Lorenzo has caused quite a bit of damage and due to the salt water, serious damage to the product is visible. Fortunately this does not have much influence on the upcoming season and we will have enough exotic products in our assortment until April. Varieties such as 'Tango', 'Succession', 'Grandicolor' and the pink 'King Protea' are available in our assortment. The yellow varieties, 'High Gold' and 'Catherina', will follow later. We will inform you in due time.

We can also tell you that a new CEO has been appointed at Frutercoop Acores Terceira; Paul Rocha. After a long and successful period, Fernando Menezes takes a step back for the new generation and its future.
