This year the Sunday before Easter, also Palm Sunday, is on April 14th. On Palm Sunday, Catholics around the world commemorate the festive entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, where he was welcomed by the people as king with palm branches. The Catholic church begins the ‘Holy Week’ with a traditional play mimicking the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and blessing palm branches with holy water.

For Palm Sunday we offer a wide assortment of palm leaves. Highly recommended for this Holiday are Chico Jumbo, Chico Doro, Cycas, Palmetto, Phoenix, Catpalm and Teepee! On request we also offer Cane Palm and Areca leaves with a length up to 120 cm. These two items are not in stock and need to be ordered at least ten days in advance.
