On November 1st All Saints day is celebrated. All Saints day is a Catholic holiday and in some Catholic countries it is marked as a public holiday. On All Saints day people pay respect to deceased loved ones by visiting their grave(s) and decorating them with flowers and other items. It is therefore no wonder that this is a very important day for florists. In countries such as Italy, Spain and Portugal it is even the biggest day of the year for florists!
