Protea Barbigera is the showiest of them aal with its bracts edged with powder-puff down. Its natural habitat is high in the mountains. Protea Barbigera has the second-largest flowerhead measuring up to 20 cm across. 

From our growers Willowgreen, Berghoff and Mountain Dew in South Africa we have different varieties Protea Barbigera available in our assortment such as 'Protea Barbigera', 'Protea Barbigera Ice Queen', 'Protea Barbigera Snow Princess', 'Protea Barbigera Ruby Princess' and so on. They come from the Porteville mountains, which is the only place where the most beautiful Protea Barbigera come from. As of now and up and to December they are available in the lengths of 35 cm up and to 60 cm.
