Cordelyne Green and Black Tie

Our grower Plantas Ornamentales de Costa Rica cultivates both varieties of Cordelyne Fruticosa, which thrive in the tropical climate of the country. These plants produce new leaves from the heart, while the lower leaves are harvested.
Both the Green and Black tie varieties are easily recognizable by their long leaves. Unsurprisingly, the name "Tie" is a nod to the English necktie, as the long leaves resemble this accessory.
The unique, glossy colors of these plants make them a great complement to floral arrangements. We offer the Cordelyne Fruticosa in a standard size of 80 cm, but other sizes up to 90 cm are also available to order.
