Galax is a variety that has been in our assortment for a long time. It is still the leaf that is often used for small arrangements, such as a corsages. The fresh green colour changes somewhat in winter, alternating with a red glow. The red leaves provide a bit of colour during the cold winter days. The leaves, which grow in the forests of North Carolina, naturally turn red under the influence of freezing temperatures. As a result, this variety is usually only available from early January. 

We offer Galax in two sizes: Galax 'Regular' with a leaf diameter of 6 to 9 centimeters and Galax 'Super' with a diameter of 9 to 12 centimeters.
